I had to start knitting ruffle scarves. I think they are very pretty. So I've gone pretty crazy knitting them. I actually first started crocheting them. I didn't like the finished product as well as when I knit them, so I ended up re-doing a few of them. I also use thread and hand sew the ends so they are finished nicely.

I have been attending craft fairs this year. These fairs are my first ones, so I am learning so much. There is a new yarn shop in town and I bought an amazing ball of yarn from them. The fingerless gloves have just formed. I'm knitting without a pattern, but I plan to write down what I've done. The yarn is so pretty and variegated that I didn't want to add much in the way of a pattern stitch, so they are made By knitting in the round with stockinette stitch and a rib on both ends. I have been teaching an ongoing beginner class. The ladies are lovely and really bright. I am always learning from my students. I want to give a thank you to all of my students. You help me grow :).
I have exciting projects to design in my mind. They involve socks and felted items. However, I have a specific cable stitch in my head because I tried it out over Christmas and LOVE it. I'm not sure which type of item I will design with it, but I don't wish to tell you the name just yet. I hope to share more with you soon :)
