Well, I'd like to start saying I am a mother, a wife, and most importantly a Christ follower.
I have been tutoring for as long as I can remember -- I have always been approached for help with areas in which I am gifted. In my search for online work, nothing panned out, and I finally realized I needed to try teaching. Though I cannot do all of this from home, I am able to make my own schedule. I am putting my work for display and sale, and this is the newest direction for Marney's Gifts. The addition of offering items for sale helped cement my commitment to the name. I knew I wanted to use my first name because it is unique. The word gift has a lot of meaning for me. If I have talent, I consider that a gift I was given from God. The other meaning I think of is giving. Items can be a gift to yourself or to someone else.
